I never thought this would happen to me, but I was a witness to a grotesque accident today. A trailer truck collided from the back with an elderly, I cant really discern the gender but that's irrelevant, who was on a bike. Continue reading at your own risk!I didnt really witness the actual accident. It was when the bus I was on moved past the site that I saw the victim, his/her head lying in a pool of blood. I have never seen so much blood before. And there was this piece of body part (not really sure what it is, it is flesh-coloured with dashes of red), I cant really make out what it is and I didnt plan to, lying near the victim. This reminds me of my close shave with an accident myself. I was driving the army landrover, candyboy was my V-Com, when I entered a slip road at 50km/h. It was suicidal considering the turning radius of the rover was wide. I entered the opposing traffic lane. Fortunately, that stretch of road was relatively deserted, and there was hardly any vehicles. Otherwise, okay I dont want to think what would have happened to me, other than a sentence to DB. And there was this time in ROC when I beat the red light, YoYo was the V-Com and was snoozing as usual. Fatigue from long hours of driving sets in and I didnt notice the light. Luck was with me when this car whizzed by, and I missed him by a hair's breadth. When I relate the incident to YoYo, he answered with nonchalance, "Hur, really ar? I didnt know." It seems like I do not possess the capability to operate a vehicle without doing harm to others and myself. The human life is so fragile and I do not wish to shatter any. 84 days to rebirth |
