"What is the first rule you ought to learn in NUS?" he asked."First come first serve" was the answer he gave. I always wondered which part of the Singapore education breeds the 'kiasu' in the people. The science briefing for freshman today was the perfect illustration of that "value". You should see how people rushed out of the LT for free lunch even before the lecturer complete his talk. Classic 'kiasuism'. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, 7:18 PM
There have been rare occasions I teared and the last time I cried was back in 4SIR when I was tormented by constant threats and the oppressive pressure. Yet, I dropped tears again, this time the cause is a taiwanese tv programme 娛樂百分百 which aired "羅志祥殘酷舞台DVD全紀錄". He's one of my most admired mandarin artise. I shant say anymore. I'll let the videos do the talking.Friday, July 11, 2008, 4:52 PM
Been lazing around at home for a couple of months, with a few outings in between. The more significant or I would say memorable was the one I had with my JC classmates about 3 weeks ago. Procrastination has always been one of my major pitfall and this is yet another example of that. Not that I need to catch up on with Brian or what since we were camp/bunk mates almost through out my 2 years of NS, but sharing our experiences with the other guys/gals were hilarious, particularly the close encounters with Cheryl Namiko. It was a fun filled evening. Deafening laughter erupted whenever we reminisce the past pranks we played in school, as well as Edwin's antics which drew the entire cafe's attention to us. Arcade/bowling were the next stops after dinner and here I have to present 2 photos. Pardon the blurred pictures, they were taken with my handphone, what more do you expect? Identify him! |
