The rumour has materialized. Outfield will span from 30th Jan to 1st Feb. I am extremely delighted. Which other unit offer one a 3 days exercise right within the week of ORD? Extreme protests and violent objections were in vain, not that it will ever work in the SAF, but the sheer nonchalance of OC's answer "Im only asking for your feedback" infuriated everyone in the company. What is the use of gathering feedback when the chance to turn over the decision of an outfield is prospectively nil? This in fact was also an eye-opener. I never thought any other than our platoon could nurse such a deep hatred, as 1 other displayed in his veracious lambaste of the unit in front of a captain. No doubt, the truth hurts. This whole idea of outfield, stimulating conditions similar to that of ATEC, has prompt me to conclude this is a re-ATEC, minus the evaluators. It is apparent our ATEC result was appalling, to be candid, it was the worst result ever obtained in the past 10 years or so. It speaks alot of the capability of you know who. Time and again they have deluded themselves that they are capable, yet when the real test come, fumbled and screwed it up. This outfield may be the last opportunity to redeem themselves. Of course, this is done at the expense of the subordinates. Who carries the heavy signal set? Who digs the shell scrape? Who does all the encoding and decoding of messages? The answer is unanimous. I do sympathize with my fellow comrades. After all, ORD is imminent. The february batch are freed from further atrocity dish out by ungrateful b**t**ds. ORD LOH! Take that, encik. 15 days to ORD |
