Here's my long overdue post, yet unfortunately i couldnt reveal anything about my brunei training (Eugene's friend got SOL for posting some unappropriate information on the net). I guess I can only update some of the more mundane events.The most recent event that I think I can mention without getting into any sort of trouble would be IPPT. I must say that the exhausting physical trainings I underwent did not go down the drain. As a result I got the much elusive gold award :) It is particularly significant to get it at this time because the stakes are high (Gold awardees are granted off for tues and thurs in January) With rewards as such you can expect people to be envious, or rather jealous if I put it crudely. Who else can they blame but themselves for not putting it the right amount of effort?Case of sour grapes. How apt. Not only that, they have the tendency to cluster and grumble in the midst of a task. A simple task that would take merely a few hours would be delayed to the whole day. Not understanding what they are suppose to do doesnt help either. I have no idea how they were able to pass the signal course =X I think I better stop before this ascalates into a complain-about-my-platoon session again. Anyway, Im finally going to resume treatment on my jaw; after putting it on hold since October last year. 387 to ORD (WOW ALMOST A YEAR LEFT!!!) |
